What you'll learn: Basics of alternative building techniques | Types of soil tests | Types of brick bonding | Rat-trap bonding | Pointing | Brick lintels | Reinforced brick masonry | Brick jali work | Corbeling | Arches | Usage of salvaged materials What you'll need: A notebook and a pen | Clothes you don't mind making dirty | Your own water bottle | Inquisitiveness to learn Snacks and lunch will be provided to the participants on both days of the workshop. No arrangements for stay and travel will be made by Maavilai or Agam Puram. The participants are requested to make their own arrangements for accommodation and travel if they are based out of Chennai.
